Staying on the Madison 6 days before heading for Livingston and the Spring
Creeks.....staying at West Fork Cabins (Warren tells me that's right near
Slide Inn).......gotta hook up with you guys by the campfire. Looking
forward to meeting you all.

Gonna spend at least one day on the Fork.......unless the Madison is so
outfreakingstanding that I just can't bear to leave her.....see you then

Hey Gang, I just wanted to pass along a few thoughts. June in
Montana and Wyoming has been nothing short of outstanding.
Weatherwise and fishing wise. I remember thinking in May that
we were in for another long hot summer. Everything was still
brown and very dry looking. After my little trip into Wyoming
yesterday, I can see a drastic improvment. Green and lush
hillsides, high and semi-murky rivers, and some afternoon rain
showers. If this weather pattern can continue for a few more
weeks, I think the Madison clave will be simply outstanding.

The climate prediction center is showing a large area of below
average temps during the start of the clave.
