Default New lighter 9.9hp-4 stroke

Most all the US outboard companies are working with Japanese companies for
their 4 strokes.

Thanks for the heads up. It might be easier to get the Mercury serviced?

Mercury has just released a new lighter 9.9hp - 4 stroke.

It is 84 pounds. It has a handle for carrying too.

There are waterways all over the globe that have a 10hp max. There are

lots
of lakes in BC, Canada with this restriction.

Nissan has a very light 9.9 4-stroke, so I
looked it up and compared it to the Merc.
They're the same engine. Much of Mercury's
4-stroke line - at least the power heads -
are from Yamaha, I believe.
