Default An evening on the Wild, and a Middle Upper Androscoggin Float (longish)

Friday afternoon I bolted out of the office at noon, swung home to pick up my
gear, and hit the road north to Gilead, Maine, and the confluence of the Wild
and Androscoggin Rivers.

It sounds like youze guyz caught a lot of everything, which is a lot of fun. I
especially liked the chapter about the big trout after the bunny. Those are the
ones that keep a feller going back.

PS: Not to IJ the thread or anything, but I plan to get out today to my favorite
tailwater (the secret spot) and would enjoy the camaraderie of any roffian
finding themselves with a need to catch a bunch of 7" brookies. When I was out a
few days ago, there were a lot of the little fishies and a few big husky ones,
so probability is on my side. They were coming up to the small dries, which is
always a kick. I plan to be there around 3-4:00, so think about it, me boyos;
sunny, 80 degrees, and my company to boot - a win all the way around. Oh,
and skeet-os are thick; bring deet - lots of it.
