Y'know, when 10 MB disks came out for PCs, some
people said that there wouldn't be much of a
market for anything bigger.

When I got my first 10MB disk (used. Hard used), I was so sure that
I'd never need anything more that I was elated. Considering the
comparatively complex programs I'd run on my Commodore 64, with hardly
any space, it was obvious. The guy who sold it to me needed a larger
one, I've forgotten what for, but he had big stuff on his. I only
wanted a few games and some tiny utilities. Bah. I reckoned without
programming bloat and feeping creatures.

My new computer, which is at a friend's house being readied for my
use, is going to have a 120 Gig hard drive and I know I'll outgrow it
in less than 5 years. I don't know how I get along now on my 6+ year
old one with only 8 Gigs.
