We found out a couple of months ago (on a trip around the Fingerlakes
winery
area) Massachusetts has a state law that prohibits mail-order or web-order
of
wine. *That* was a major disappointment as we'd hit on some outstanding
Cabs
but didn't have room to carry more than a couple of mixed cases.

We married off the oldest daughter last month. One of the wedding guests
was an aunt who lives in the finger lakes area, in fact, she works for the
New York State Wine Growers Assn as a PR person. She gifted us a couple of
mixed cases, most of them from vintners I never would have tried. Splendid
stuff.
