The productive area has an abundance of perch and rising bait fish. There is
also blue herons feeding along the shore. The expansive weed area does not
seem to have concentrated areas of perch and bait fish. There is nesting loons
but i noticed they do not feed in the weed area indicating the lack of bait
fish. There is no spraying of weeds allowed. The water is fairly clear and
there is some submerged logs of logging days gone bye. I try to run a lure
along the logs to entice hiding bass but it is to no avial.
