So I have this new lady in my life. Yesterday I took her to the park
and taught her to fly cast. She took instruction well, and it was cute
watching her being nervous and awkward with the rod.

A really good fishing spot was nearby, so at sundown I suggested taking
her there, at least to witness the spectacle of hundreds of rising
trout. I caught one fish while we were there - my biggest of the
season! Wonder if that is a good omen.........
