Spring fishing on the Cape

Good for you, but I don't know how people do it. I tried
Atkins for a month and it was awful. I didn't have enough
gas in the tank to run 3 miles without hitting the wall.
I figured Atkins was for obese people who got obese by
sitting on the couch eating doughnuts and twinkies and who
wanted to lose weight by sitting on the couch and NOT
eating doughnuts and twinkies.
I found just the opposite. I was working out a bit (cardio) while on the diet,
and maintained a good energy level. I think the trick is to eat enough fat to
keep the energy level up. Also, I was limiting myself to about 1500/1700
calories a day. It does get awful boring, though. I'm still sick of hard boiled
eggs and sugar free Jello.
