I get those most often when standing waste-deep in cold
water, usually just far enough out from shore that it
becomes a real race to get somewhere dry & hidden fast
enough...


Sounds familiar. It seems that no matter how recently I've relieved
myself, once I'm on the water (and wearing waders), I get the urge.

Gives new meaning to the phrase "a river runs through it".



Not to mention "waste-deep".
