I usually fish stick worms wacky style on lighter line. I have found I
really like the action on 12lb Seaguar CarbonPro. For smaller stick worms

I
have to go to lighter line to get the right fall rate most of the time.

I have had such a hard time hooking fish on them rigged texas style that
almost never throw them t-rigged. I bet its been over a year since I

threw
one that way.

Bob, I assume by stickworms you are referring to to Senkos and clones. It's
interesting to me how different fishermen get such different results. I have
always hooked the vast majority of my strikes on Texas-rigged (Texposed)
Senkos, using just a medium power spinning rod. This is even more
interesting because you are clearly a more sophisticated fisherman than I
am. At any rate, hooking that bass with your flipping stick may give you the
confidence to do more Texas rigging. Good luck.
