I think that Chino is somewhere east of Orange Co.?
Your best shot is to find a fly shop in your area. Most give, or can arrage
lessons. I don't know how close Bob Marriotts would be, but they should be
able to arrange lessons, and could probably advise you of some place closer.
Marriotts web site is
http://www.bobmarriotts.com. You should be able to
find a phone number there. This is one of the biggest fly shops in the
west. their motto is if they don't have it, you don't need it
Many shops give group lessons, which are cheaper, but it will take you
longer to learn.
finding someone in southern CA to give you lessons on this site is a real
long shot
A site that a lot of Californias visit, (and many others) is
www.danblanton.com. You might get some help there. Also try
http://www.fishsniffer.com/ and
http://www.anglernet.net/. At least the
latter is in CA. check their bulletin boards too
Good luck
