I will take that into consideration if I choose to mount it this way..
I'll use tie wraps to control movement of the wire.
Definately will have to watch scrapping it on the bracket I see...


Be careful how you route the wiring down the trolling motor shaft. I cut
into the wiring once when I was dropping the motor in the water. It got
caught up in the mounting bracket.
