IIRC, there was a big hole just east of the bridge above the little
island. (I could be wrong, but I was thinking the Madison was running
pretty much east to west at the bridge, before turning north towards
Ennis.) Guys were lined up to fish that every day we were there. (We
stayed in the second house above the bridge.)

Right you are, Chuck. That should have read "just east of the bridge".



Thanks for the TR. It reminded me of some really nice times in that
