thanks! i'm still excited- just finished my exam, and i'm on my way out
with my rod.

i went into my instructor's office right before class, and thanked her for
telling me about that spot, and told her of my experience. she was very
happy for me, and when i handed her my exam at the end of class, she grinned
at me and said, "now, go fishing."
i think i have a new favorite teacher :-)

while i was at work in the library this mornin, i opened up a book on fish,
and looked at some brooks- it contained a photo of one in it's spawning
colors- exquisite-
certainly something to look forward to.
