I build my own leaders. Berkeley Trilene for the butt and taper sections,
then Dai-Riki tippet.
You can go with fancier materials, but Trilene has always worked fine for
me, and the price is right.
I have found that the hand tied leaders just work better. You can experiment
with different materials and tapers to get the effects you want.
For dries, the Harvey-style leader (30% butt, 30% taper, 40% tippet) 10-12
ft long, with a .017 butt and 5X or 6X tippet works very well.
