Actually the story is a bit different, as I remember it. I spotted the
fish and John and someone else gave it a try with no results. The fish
was in a tough spot feeding right below a submerged log. You came
along and did a great job of patiently presenting it with a number of
different flies without spooking it, eventually hooking a tough fish.
Very cool, IMO.
P.S. to all of ROFF: Never compete with Bruiser on name that
tune/artist/album, at least not in the Rock, Country, or Bluegrass genres.
I'd sponsor him to a game show that tested that stuff.
