Hi Guys.

Success.

On my model, I had to loosen the large screw in the middle of the Magforce
dial, rotate the sideplate 30 degrees anticlockwise and off popped the side
cover/

Under the side cover there was a screw that went right throught the line
guide into the cover on the other side.

What impressed me about this reel is that there was not a single plastic
gear in it.

It was also in good condition, but I cleaned and lubes it anyway.

She is running super smooth now and cant wait to "start putting da hurt on
dem bass"!

Thanks.

I use those reels exclusively guys, and don't think you have to remove the
screw on the magnetic control to remove the sideplate; You do have to

pivit
it either clockwise or cclockwise but it should pull off.

Do you have a screw in the center of the mgnetic control? If so remove
it and turn the side plate counter clock wise.
