Default ot converting bow mounted trolling motor

It was a transom mount when I bought it new. I was just replying to Steves
post about pushing instead of pulling.

I have a 33lb MK Maxxum transom mount on my square end canoe. I know you
can unbolt the head, spin it 180 degrees & convert it to bow mount. Any
chance yours was a transom mount that someone turned the head around on?

I pushed my Bass Hunter with a 32lb Motorguide. Loved it.

Is it possible to convert a trolling motor from bow mount to transom

mount?
I have a Minn Kota Endura 30 on a Pond Prowler (one of those

rectangular
plastic slab of a boat for two people). I find it very difficult to

steer
from the front, perhaps because the boat is so short, I dunno, so I

was
wondering if it could be mounted on the transom. I don't have an

owner's
manual...bought it used.

If you think your Pond Prowler is difficult to steer with a bow mount,

just wait till you put it on
the back end! It's much easier to drag a rope than it is to push one.

I
mean, you can try it, but
I think you might be disappointed with the results.
