I think you're mixing up the two trips, Willi. We were fishing with Mike
and Bruiser. I had just caught a fish in that pool when you came by and
said you remembered another fish from your previous trip to the Ruby,
and there he was, feeding rhythmically on tiny white mayflies. He
closely inspected and refused my caddis dry, you showed him your dry and
droppers, which he also refused, and I tied on a tiny foam-wing fly
which he finally took. It was very cool.
My memory sucks and I take your word for how it happened.
The taking a tough fish is the important part and I remembered that part
right!
