I was getting frustated in not getting too much action the last few days so i
tried a drop shot rig for the first time. I was using power pro, swivel, split
shot, worm hook. I tied the worm hook above the split shot using the swivel. It
didn't work well at all, The hook tangled with line holding the split shot. No
bass i know would hit it under those circumstances. From what i'm reading in
the group you should use a light line and small hook. Will this eliminate the
tangle problem. Also is the process to cast and retrieve slowly with long
pauses or a light fling and ease it back gently to the boat..
