That history sounds like the one from "Fly Patterns of British
Columbia" - Art Lingren.

I tied a few up after that swap and fished them with decent success.
As stated in the history, the fly is not very durable (gets ratty
looking quickly) but seemed to fish well even after that.


It doesn't seem to matter to Humpys either
