Mike's "naive" comment stands tall. I can't believe a well-traveled person like
you actually put a lock on checked baggage. They've been known to lop those
things off for many years before the PA, and state they'll do just that on all
of their flight and baggage claim literature. Why don't you just paint a big
bull's-eye on the bag while you're at it. ;-)
