We have some fish that look like they are in prespawn patterns here already.
I'll bet that after the last week of warmer weather I can find a few fish on
beds right now.

When do you folks feel your pre-spawn generally starts ramping up?
I'm
interested from a regional standpoint. I realize that this depends on a
lot
of little items like weather trends and temps, just looking for generic
times.
I'm in Central Indiana. I feel our first fish start getting
interested
in biting in Late March in some of our bigger impoundments. I love to see
those turtles start popping their heads out of the water, and crawling up
on
logs. In the creeks and rivers, it seems to come a little later, with my
best action in those waters starting in early April.
Any thoughts?
