Hey guys, being the boat-less one, I was wondering if anyone from texas could
give me some wader friendly access points on the Brazos? The only river I
have waded around in the Dallas Fort-Worth area is the Paluxy. So I figured
I would try the Brazos....or are there any small creeks with bank/wade access
in north/north east texas that I won't get run off for trespassing on?

Fished some lakes but i'm more a river and small stream guy.

Just downstream of the Possum Kingdom dam there seems to be parking on
both sides of the Brazos river. I only saw the spot on one side
(where I put in to canoe and camp downstream. The east side.), but
it's obvious from the numbers of fishermen there that there's plenty
of parking on the west side. Lots of big rainbows in there. Put and
take, I've assumed, but some might survive to become more wild.

There was a canoe rental spot called (back about 6 years) Rochelle's
down stream of there about 20 miles that would probably give you river
access and there's an incoming stream a ways (don't recall how far)
upriver from it.

You could call the Possum Kingdom State Park and find out about
streams entering the reservior above the dam, though you might have to
have a boat to access them.
