Default Very...Very Late Lapland Clave Report!

You were a bit early........they have reported just as big....pigs....this
year.
yes for the peak time but still the pig in question was caught several days
before our arrival on 12th August. and plenty of smaller ones, 2, 3, 4kg
with it since.

Can't imagine the feeling of a 7 kg (lb15.5) wild brown trout, just as
well. I guess.......what's left to aim for once you've caught one of
those?
yes, hum...but still very willing to take the chance. Will still be time to
be disappointed

Jerome

PS Have got all my photos readily scanned on a cd. At your disposal for the
internet.

How is the hunting season starting? are you going to save some moose hair
for us?

A lot has already been said about how well the clave went and I will

just
add my own spin. A lot briefer than "Thomas the Viking who just

discovered
his roots". Exciting writing, Mister, thank you!

1st of all, sincere thanks to Roger Ohlund

You're welcome!

Next year might involve a bit of drifting downriver, and I definitely

would
like to retain the mountain element. There is much more to discover in
Sweden. Choosing is the hard bit.

Yep, it was always so.

A stop in Ammarnas:
Fished there for two days after the clave. The fiskecentrum catch record
showed that amazing catches were being made in August...up to 7kg of

...pig!

Glad you enjoyed yourself.
