that theme in a response to Bob posted (according to my computer clock) some
17 minutes before your astute observation and implicit comment on character.

As for the time, although it was posted after your second post, I hadn't
read your second post until "now". The way I generally post is to read
through ROFF and put any posts I want to responding to in a Drafts
folder and then when I get a chance, I go back and respond to them as a
group. (Which is why my posts are generally grouped together in terms of
the time stamp.)

I was just giving you **** about your "careful reader" comments. It was
a dig but it wasn't meant as an assault on your character (I'd be more
direct if I want to do that!). I also don't think that being a "careful
reader" or not is a matter of character.
