it would seem pretty absolute. And yes, I do worry about the direction
Cheney
and his neocon buddies are taking this nation down. I do think they are
the
ones, both politically and in the media, who have fueled the divisive
atmosphere(although neither side is blameless). I actually have moments
where I
worry how this entire regime will handle it when Kerry wins, if he does
win. I
really fear some hokey suspension of law, state of emergency or the like,
and
hope I am wrong about the lack of character of these folks.

As interesting and important as George's question is, I'm afraid that, like
the upcoming election here in the U.S., it is largely moot. Forces have
been set in motion that are sending and will continue to send shock waves
around the world for decades. What's going on today isn't like that
silliness that nobody much gave a **** about over in southeast Asia thirty
years ago. THIS **** is serious.....and it's only going to get more so.
Those of us who don't already feel like Cole Sear soon will. Get used to
it.
