Singapore?
Riverman,
I've been to Singapore and to its only fly fishing shop. It's Coho
FishingTackle, located at 14 Bali Lane. A nice little place with friendly
staff. You can email then at
. Tell Michael Boey
that Dave from Seattle sent you. I bought a 4wt large arbor reel from them
a couple of winters ago. If you show them how to tie one or two of your
favorite flies, you'll make some quick friends. Sal****er fishing is the
deal there, and Coho does guide service even to Australia. Email them and
get the lowdown. And it can get a tad warm in Singapore. Just dress
light, and you'll be fine.

Any of you more well-travelled roffians been there, and what are the
flyfishing opportunities? I got a googlepost from 1999 where someone said
that there was no freshwater fishing near there, but some pretty good
swff,
and excellent travel destinations (NZ, etc).
Its a possibility for next year, but I gotta weigh the
advantages/disadvatages. Like, I hear it gets hot there....
