I think they are referring to Ephorons mayflies, although there are
caddis this time of year called "White Millers", which to confuse
things some people also use to refer to the Ephoron leukon we have
hatching here in N. Wisconsin at present. There are a couple species
of Ephorons other leukon, like a E. album, but I think they can all be
imitated by a White Wulff or similar fly. Last week I had pretty good
luck with a white Usual style fly.
