Default Need hellroaring creek report

Head to Yellowstone next week. Anyone have a recent fishing report and
fly recommendations?

Thanks,

BT,
The hike down to Hellroaring is very nice, crossing the Yellowstone on
a small suspension bridge which had a raptor nest built on it the last
time I was there. Hellroaring is a nice sized creek with smallish
trout. The fish were pretty picky when I used surface flies. Trying
a Hopper with a beadhead nymph trailer may work (maybe a Copper John),
as the trout seemed to reject many of my surface attempts.

From Hellroaring you can access the Yellowstone at the HR mouth.
Caught one trout there on a weighted streamer.

Good Luck,
Jeff
