Default 2004 Northwoods Classic Results

On Sat, 11 Sep 2004 20:26:51 -0500, "Charles B. Summers"
sent into the ether:

Congrats to all the participants! Glad to hear that almost everyone caught
fish out of the notorious Boom (Doom) Lake, and that everyone had a great
time!

Also... congrats to Danl for winning my contest of the big bag of plastics!
Danl correctly guessed Ronnie Garrison for second place, as did Jim Laumann,
and Justin Hires. RichZ had Ronnie in a tie with Warren. The deciding factor
was that Danl also correctly guessed that Steve Huber would take Big Bass!

Cool, what when and where? I sure could have used a better collection
of soft plastics today.

I will now be going out and buying salad spoons and flukes for
starters. Had a BIG Northern bite a fluke off right behind the
hook :} Caught my Bass today on another Fluke(sp) 2.45#

Well, another NWC is over (at least the fishing portion) and the results

are
final. (a drumroll please) The results are........

Gary W. - 4.41 today 11.96 total
Ronnie - 3.55 today 8.82 total
Chris R. - 5.19 today 7.52 total
Dave - 4.06 today 7.04 total
Chris S. - 2.03 today 5.73 total
Steve - 0 today 5.22 total
Kevin - 1.66 today 5.00 total
Rich - 0 today 2.58 total
Dan - 2.45 today 2.45 total
Fritz - 0 today 1.99 total
Jerry - 0 today 1.92 total
Sean - 0 today 1.37 total
Gil - 0 today 1.35 total
Jim L. - 0
Harry - 0
Warren - 0
Pat - 0
Drew - 0
Alan - 0
George - 0

Largest Non-Bass: Dave with a 32 in muskie
Big Bass: Steve with a 3.31 smallmouth

So, once again, another NWC has proven tough. But, everyone I talked to

had
a smile on their face and had a ball. It's now the lull before the storm,
everyone is back at the hotel getting ready for tonight's festivities.

Lots
of eating, laughing, and fun ahead.

And I think that Boom has beaten up on everyone enough, it's time for me

to
start researching new water. As it stands right now, I'm still planning

on
the weekend after Labor Day, so start planning for next year. If you've
never been to one, you really owe it to yourself to attend one, it's a lot
of fun, guaranteed!
