Default bill dance

No question Crownliner! We all know Bill as a TV celeb, as well as a
sell-out marketer. While he'll (obviously) advertise for anybody that pays
him, that certainly doesn't make him a bad guy.

What alot of people don't know is that in the early days of B.A.S.S.
tournaments, even before Roland arrived on the scene, Bill was the most
dominating angler on the trail. Keep in mind also that the only
sophisticated equiptment Bill had at the time were a sonar flasher & a
mercury thermometer. Even the lake maps of the day were crude to say the
least. Bill was very rarely not in the top 10 regardless of where he went,
in fact it was Bill's records that Roland broke on his way to becoming the
king of the tour. Bill was a master at finding & catching bass the old
fashioned way, and for that he will always have my respect.

And, for the record, I'd kill to fish the super-ponds that Bill films his TV
show on. Imagine, the bass are all hawgs & they aren't even spooked by a
great big rubber-band bouncing on the bottom like a yo-yo...

Lol, you mean Roland doesn't fish in a pond full of hungry 6 pounders

like
Bill Dance?

you know even though it is obvious he fishes stocked ponds a lot, his show
is very educational. i think it is one of the most informative shows on

tv.
infisherman is also, but i don't care about all the northern species,
because they don't have many of them here. the show is good though and if

i
lived farther north, or traveled more it would be one of my favorites. as
it is though they don't focus enough on my two favorites, which are bass

and
hybrids.
