october 9 - 16, graham county & swain county. rachel and i are staying
through the 23rd, so we'll be around if you need to plan a later date or
visit. our rental is in the snowbird area, south of robbinsville, on
snowbird creek. some folks are looking at the rentals over at almond boat
docks on fontana lake...about 30 minutes from snowbird...and some are
staying in robbinsville at motels (usually $40-90 per night).

Anybody interested in a walk up Hazel Creek - mebbe spend a couple of nights
there? (reprise of the death march?) Also, what do you'uns think about
Forney and Noland and other creeks near the road to nowhere? I've never been
on those creeks and thought it might be fun to give it a try.
