rodney, i have never wanted to get involved in these disputes, but i am
tired of the ranting and raving on this newsgroup. whether you like it or
not, most of it centers somehow around you. here are some facts:

1. you claim this guy is slandering you. you are wrong for several
reasons. first off you can't slander a thing, only a person. secondly he
can state any opinion he wants on an open forum as long as it is not a lie
purposely told to cause you financial harm, physical or emotional harm, or
social disgrace. if his opinion does this and is the result of well
intended advice and he can demonstrate good faith in sharing this opinion
based on his findings of either you, or your product then he is entitled
under the first amendment to spout off just like you are.

2. you are the one who constantly uses personal attacks to start these
disputes. if the guy thinks your product sucks he has a right to say so. i
think lots of things suck, just like the daiwa reels i commented on.
another user here likes them and we had a chuckle over how much our opinions
differ. i doubt he will sue me, daiwa won't sue me and even though we had
strong opinions no one got mad. you on the other hand inflame everyone with
personal attacks. want some examples from your last post? these are some
things you said.

"your a wanna be"

"What you have writen is slanderous, to me and my product, it is based on
lies, not facts."

" You have writen this post in the fear that members of this group will find
out that you don't
know what your talking about"

"Your a JERK, plane, and simple, You do great as long as people feed your
ego, your a great friend to them, let someone that knows "more" than you
do about something, and you attack them"

"any more references to my contracts or dealings
with my licensees will land you in court"

rodney you said it your self,

those are your own words. he can and probably will do this. why don't you
just offer your stuff, keep your personal comments to yourself and not worry
about what he is saying. he is entitled to speculate all he wants about
your products, your contracts or anything else he wants to, unless he states
them as facts, not opinions and does it to cause you material damage. if i
think something and tell people i think it, i am allowed by the constitution
do so without threat or punishment. that is my friend what makes america
great.

this is a nice forum most of the time and i think it is fine if you want to
give away your samples, just like it is fine for the spinnerbait guy or
anyone else to promote their stuff also. i also think you have a right to
criticize the other products just like they do, but damn i wish you would
stop provoking flame wars with personal attacks and threats. if you don't
like his opinions, just killfile the guy.

to everyone else sorry for this rant, i won't respond to any flames back
from anyone and i hope we can all get back to talking fishing. speaking of
which i am thinking of selling my champion and buying a lund pro v. anyone
ever fish from one? if so how did you like it compared to a bass boat?

thousands of fish caught and filmed underwater, as well as those watched
through sight fishing, actually, many strike it, (You were not alone in
this misbelief, until people actually used it). You have writen this
post in the fear that members of this group will find out that you don't
know what your talking about,, you don't want them to try it, because it
will make you look like a total fool when they do, that is the only
reason you don't want them taking advantage of the free offer. If you
believed what you had writen, you would have wanted them all to take it
, so you could rub it in , if it did not do as I claimed. Your scared
now, as I have already started sending them out, are you going to
belittle everyone who would try to defend it that comes on here now.. I
will bet you you will, just like you have the few that have stood up for
me .

Your hoping that after this post you made that the members here will be
afraid to tell the truth here after they have seen what this rig can do
and how it produces fish. Your hoping they like you so much they just
won't take the chance of making you mad, and/or look bad.
