I have a Lund 165 bass with a 40 horse yamaha four stoke on it. I love
the boat. With my wife and I along with a bunch of fishing gear with
us, it will run about 32mph WOT. This is plenty fast for me.It moves
along real good about about 20-25 miles per hour.We use our lund on
the currituck sound in NC. It can get very rough ( 3 foot chop) and
the boat handles very good. And with the four stroke, 6 gallons of gas
will last all day and then some. The lund also does not have any wood
in it ( a big plus). One thing that I did not like about the lund was
it did not come with guages. I had to install them aftermarket. But
the yamaha guage i got is a very nice setup.It tells you all you need
to know in one large digital display.
