Went to Mudeford this afternoon, managed 1 hour either side of HW.
Not the best time. Try first/last light.
Used ledger rig and a "tormenter" lure.
Float near the surface, say a meter down. Don't knoe the tormentor but
lures are a good idea.
Used Squid as bait.
Anything cut to small-fish shape should do, then look inside the first fish
to get a better idea of what theyre taking. Might be small-fry or prawn
about now.
Fished the harbour entrance...huge tidal race both ways.
All such entrances fish best on a big spreing, preferably not with flooded
rivers though.
I'm in salisbury...wher, oh where, within a 2 hour drive should I go for
bass??
Mudeford's not a bad choice. In daylight you may be better off spinning
outside though.
