Stripers in the Hudson or East Rivers -- Now that's fishing !
This is the right time of year as well.

| in the mid 90s. The article covered the Harlem Meer and finished with
| Striper fishing in the East River, IIRC. The author, a regular on the
| Hudson, claimed to have seen corpses floating by. Definitely a new
| definition of combat fishing.
