Default For the winter fishermen out there

"BJ Conner" wrote in message I usually do the
Wilson and the Trask, I cna drive there faster than I
can drive across town. I keep hearing the Sandy is combat fishing, is
that true? I only see the part under the I 84 bridge when I'm on my
way someplace else. This year I'm going to try and get up into
Washington more.

I saw only one other fisherman, but it was a weekday and I was not near
Cedar Creek. I'd rather not fish than fight for a run. Of course I didn't
catch anything. The other fisherman was tossing a spinner, and we exchanged
friendly chat. As he was there first I confirmed which way he was heading
and asked if he minded me fishing up river of him. No combat fishing where
I was.

I caught my first steelhead on the Wilson with a rod I made in a high school
class. Of course that was on a Steelie and not a fly, but it was fun.
