All set to heed Willi's advice about adding something positive, but a
wee bit short on imagination this evening, how about another round of
this old standard......

Me.....

tying a couple dozen (well, I hope, anyway) #16 beadhead pheasant
tails.... w/o legs

drinking a couple big bottles of Nastro Azzuro

and listening to Lucinda Williams ("World Without Tears" and "Car
Wheels...")

....and all y'all?

after a very intense week at school, i rewarded myself with an afternoon
fishin trip, which will be followed by the indulgence of a margarita or two,
while i watch a video, called It's Hard to tell the Singer From the Song,
that i checked out from the campus library. it is a documentary film
produced by a non-profit kentucky organization called appalshop, (with whom
i might like to do an internship), about hazel dickens, an appalachian
activist/songwriter who focused most of her efforts on the coal mining
industry. don't know how imaginative that is, but it's gonna rock.....

btw, excellent choice in music
