I'd go with the Guide Wear also, have had mine for 8 years now, many 4 day
continuous rain fishing trips to SE Alaska, and winter steelhead and
sturgeon trips from the bank or boat, have never been wet with them on. No
problems whatsoeveer except the drawstring for the hood just loves to get
fuzzed up and stick to the velcro weather strip used the protect the zipper
from water.
