Thanks Steve I sent them an email a few days ago along with a few other web
sites for rod building and they all said that Berkley would be the only one
that would have the answer. One guy said that the seat would have been made
just for that rod and would most likely been made in a quantity and size
just for that rod. Witch means that there isn't any left to buy and if there
was I would have to find a blank the exact size to fit the handle. So it
seems I'm out of luck on this one.

I build my own rods and have been trying to find the manufacturer of the
real seats and handles that where used on the Berkley "The Pulse"
trigger
flipping rods. Now I called Berkley (what a joke) they told me the their
rods are
made in Taiwan and they just tell them what they want and don't know who
they
buy the parts from....hmmmmmmmm
I'm pretty sure I can make the cork handle but I cant find the reel
seats.
If any one knows how to find these please let me know. Here's a picture
of
the seat www.oaklandbassmasters.com/images/seat.htm
Hi Roy,
I went to my usual sources for components and couldn't find that reel
seat.
So then I did a google search and still couldn't find it.
I would suggest that you log onto http://www.rodguild.com/ and ask there.
If you do get an answer, let me know because I'm curious about it as well
now.
