Default Noisy studs: do the fish care?

Tim From everything I've read in old posts here, it sounds like
Tim studded soles (either felt or aquastealth) provide the best
Tim traction. However, I'm concerned about how much noise these
Tim might make, and whether or not I'd be in regular danger of
Tim spooking the fish.

Tim Any thoughts?

My boots have studded aquastealth soles. They are otherwise fine now
(I had some rusting problems at the beginning), but my concern has
been exactly the noise. Given the choice, I would _not_ buy them now,
because I often fish rocky gently flowing streams; my best guess is
that they must make one hell of a noise underwater in such streams. In
faster rapids, or rivers with softer bottoms, they're probably fine.
