I had a crack at tying these last evening, the only problem tying them
was the under/over wing tended to kick up if the body didn't taper away
at the eye end.
Looking at tying pic 2 it looks like there is much more dubbing under
the shank than above: this may mean trimming or, as pic 2 appears to
show, a "back" that compresses the dubbing when it is pulled forward.
A shaped underbody (keel) would aslo produce the same effect.
I'll be interested to hear what you do: I'm gonna fiddle some more this
evening.
