B.A.S.S. Federation clubs run CastingKids events all over the country, and
this upcoming season will feature an organized youth circuit & a youth
championship run in conjunction with the Bass Masters Classic. My
Federation, New Jersey, even has active junior chapters. Check out the

There are thousands of kid's fishing derbys around the country, and as
many youth organizations...finding one that could get the two in
algnment would be the goal, then offer what we could to help that effort
is what I think would make sense...and make me feel like I was giving
something back to the sport! It could be a combination of equiptment and
money...nothing grandious, just a small pay back for the good fortune
all of us enjoy in the ability to go "play" on the water. But I still
agree with Warren, it is an individual thing, and I don't want to "sell"
my opinion on it...just saying what I feel is all.
