It sounds a bit funny doesn't it, but we mainly specialise in marine
electronics such as radio's, fish finders, GPS etc.

I don't know a great deal about cables or straps and it always pays to ask,
if you are ever in doubt.

BTW I didn't think the question was a daft one, but I thought I would get a
lot of opinions so I asked both Aussies, UK and USA boaties to see what the
general feel was.

I firmly believe that it never hurts to listen to "real people" who use
this gear every day rather than the "experts" at the factories who make
them.
