Chris, why would you want to go with antiquated technology? There's a
reason that all cars and most outboards are fuel injected. If carbs were
the way to go, fuel injection wouldn't be an option. Go for the HPDI and
never look back. The increased efficiency, better economy and ease of
starting are well worth the additional $.
