Default Penns Creek Pictures

They look great to me. I don't think they were compressed too much for
viewing on the web. When viewing them on a computer screen there would
be little difference with an uncompressed image, IMO. If you had posted
the original 5 Meg pix, only a fraction of the picture would have filled
the computer screen.

Folks thanks for the kind words and I hope you enjoy the pictures.
What compression does to a picture is it strips it of detail. The
picture will look great from far away but when you zoom in you'll
notice the quality suffers. Compression gives you larger Pixels and a
lesser amount of pixels per inch.
So instead of 1000 pixels per inch you get 100 pixels per inch. The
shots I have on my PC I can zoom in to the point of counting the
individual hairs on the edges of the wings. I have pretty much the
whole year of hatches for Penns Creek and over the winter I'll try to
post some of them.
