Well, you're right about that - that was a dumb-**** move on Francona's part -
no doubt Pedro sweet-talked him into it, just like he talked his way into the
8th inning same game last year.

But the pitcher's name is Lowe. Derek Lowe.
And he was setting himself up for free agency next year.
He done good, should get a few extra million somewhere else next season :-)
