Hi all, I just picked up a new Abu Garcia amBASSadeur 5601 C4.

So far I'm very happy with it. It has to be one of the best values out
there and I'm really quite impressed at how well it casts. This is my
first Abu Garcia reel, been using Shimano Curado reels and one of the
things I noticed about the Abu Garcia is the line guide stays engaged
on the casts. This makes the reel very quite on hard long casts and
seems to add to the distance. I have mine spooled with 14 Lb Ironsilk
and this + the engaged line guide makes for one smooth reel.

Definitely a thumbs up :-) Besides, it looks cool too.
