I have rarely disagreed with you over the years, but between you, Padishar,
and Brusier there are 5 rods by this maker returned for service. Old timers
I know tell me this was a problem common to Sage when they first came out,
St. Croix on their early fly rods, Diamondback had to change their ferrulle
design (I had two of their first series of rods break). The commonality here
is "when they first came out", maybe they'll get more dependable, until then
it's a good thing they have good service. Until then, maybe you ought to
loosen your drag a little. grin
